Sexual Disorders and Sex Therapy

Most people are quite embarrassed by sexual functioning problems although such issues are quite common and can be addressed in sex therapy. I work with folks struggling with dating, intimacy, and sexual relationships. I also enjoy working with patients to discover what pleasurable sex looks like along with managing a chronic medical condition. Part of the challenge with sex therapy may also involve unlearning shameful feelings around sex, healing from unresolved body trauma, and addressing body images issues. I offer a nonjudgmental approach that is affirmative of relationship orientations, body ability/appearance, alternative lifestyles, and fetishes. I am an AASECT-certified sex therapist.
